I cannot believe I’m writing this- Trust me, No one thought I’d pass! BUT I just passed my driving test today and I couldn’t have done it without Ron he is amazing, I am forever grateful! From the very first lesson, Ron was patient, encouraging, and always made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. He actually wanted me to succeed. He explained and broke down everything so clearly and gave me the confidence to handle every situation on the road. His calm teaching style made such a difference — This is sometimes so rare when finding driving instructors. I never felt rushed or judged, just supported and motivated to improve each lesson. Ron was never critical just constructive, so by the time I went into my test I was feeling fully prepared and confident, and I’m so proud to say I passed! I’d recommend him to absolutely anyone learning to drive — genuinely one of the best instructors out there. 🚗💨 ~ leah m

I got my test date last minute and was not prepared therefore I booked in a pretest with Ronald, He was so patient and very understanding. He thought me knowledge that previous instructors hadn’t thought me and really gave me the confidence I needed for my test. He was very good at explaining all the manoeuvres and teaching me how to be ready for my test. He comes prepared with a book explaining all the things you need to know for your test. The following day I did my test and passed with flying colours. Thanks to Ronald’s as I wouldn’t have been able to pass my test without him !!! I definitely recommend! ~ jack m

Massive thanks to Ron, just passed my test first try and with zero faults! I would absolutely recommend Ron to anyone looking to sit their driving test in Wicklow. Having had other instructors in the past I found Ron to be best of the bunch! The lessons were test focussed and very informative. And on top of that, having such good company in the car made it all the more enjoyable! The videos and links were a great help in preparation as well. And the few lessons we had to do in Ron's car were never any issue. Got the email that my test would be in about 3 weeks and Ron was great to accommodate doing pre tests beforehand on such short notice, which I'm very grateful for! They were a massive help in getting my to pass the test, highlighting my specific faults, and route specific details etc! Just got the fancy new pink liscence in the post today! I recently completed a few lessons and a pre-test with Rathnew Driving School and I’m really happy with the experience. The instructor was patient, professional, and explained everything clearly, which helped build my confidence on the road. My 18 year old Daughter did her driving lessons with Ron . After the first lesson she felt so comfortable with him . His super relaxed demeanour put her at ease. After a few lesson they took Ella’s own car out which I was nervous because there was no breaks on Ron’s side😬 But as usual her lessons went smoothly and she was out driving around locally in no time . She is driving 8 months and passed her driving test today first time with flying colour all thanks to Ron and all his patients. Ron also sent me on tips , questions and routes to help her pass. After driving for many years in India, I didn't need a driving teacher, I needed an expert coach to help me transition to driving here and pass the local practical test. Ron was exactly that expert. Instead of spending time on basic driving, the lessons were immediately focused and efficient. He quickly assessed my existing skills and, more importantly, identified the specific habits I needed to "unlearn" to meet the test standards here, particularly the rules around the roundabouts, proper mirror checks and all other aspects of proper driving. His approach was professional, calm, and highly tailored. The pre-test preparation on the actual test routes was invaluable, giving me the confidence that I wasn't just able to drive, but that I could pass the demanding local standard. In the last few months I've been doing lessons with Ron to sharpen up my driving and be prepared when I get the driving test invite. I got the invitation this day last week and passed the test this morning with one minor fault. From the moment I messaged Ron the test was booked, he was fully hands on, we scheduled in a few pre-tests this week, fixing mistakes and ensuring I was confident going into the test. Yesterday I passed my driving test in an automatic car (perfect car! so comfortable, thanks Ron) and it's honestly become one of my favourite memories! Thanks to Ron my daughter passed her driving test last week. It was her 3rd attempt and she was so nervous..Ron was quick to respond to my messages. He loaned her his car with no issues. He sent so many great informative videos for her to watch. When we received the date of the test he ensures he was available to give her an hour pretest right before her actual test. Sheer positive patience and diligence. Highly recommended! Ron has been nothing but a blessing for assisting me with the road rules, patiently analysing my fault zones and recommending the correct way of driving. A sign of a good instructor is- observe, gauge and then recommended, therefore, catering to every student’s needs. Ron has been an intelligent instructor and would always keep you calm, stay honest and motivate you to drive better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Ronald enough! He fit me in for a pre-test lesson at the very last minute, and I’m so grateful. His communication was clear and prompt from the start, which made everything less stressful. i started my lessons last year as a beginner i was really shy and nervous, ron helped me overcome that i had my ups and downs but he was always a great help throughout my whole driving experience, always on time, never complains, good listener and overall a great driving instructor. My sons test was coming up and i contacted Ron to see if he would have a free appointment to take him out for a pre-test. He was so helpful and gave him alot of pointers to help him on the day. He is very friendly but also very professional at his job. I'd highly recommend him to anyone wanting lesson's or pre-tests. He is very patient but also very knowledgeable and made my son feel so at ease. He talked him through everything and also wrote down pointers to work on before his test. I passed my driving test today all due to Rons dedication and amazing help. He seriously helped me with my nerves and provided amazing lessons in the coming weeks to my test date and gave me a really good pretest the day of my test making sure i was 100% confident with everything. Thanks to Rons incredible help and guidance I passed the driving test this morning. I cannot stress enough how much he helped me for the test as without his easily understandable and calm directions on what to do, i would never have passed. If your looking to do your driving test in Wicklow, I strongly recommend going with Ron as he gives expert advice and great communication on what to do and how to improve in pre tests. I had my driving test this morning, and ........I PASSED!!! It was my second attempt, and I was feeling so nervous before. Thanks to Ron, I felt so much more prepared. I knew the test routes, and he was very encouraging and supportive. The day before my test, we practised reversing into the parking spot, and it made me so much more confident on the day. I can’t recommend Ron enough! I had two pre-tests with him before my driving test and he made such a huge difference to my confidence.
